Other Community Service Ministries include: 

GETTING MARRIED?  Dove Chapel offers Faith Based Pre-Marriage Classes. (Completion of this gives participants a scholarship award that covers the cost of the Marriage License).  Program is in support of TwoGether in Texas (in conjunction with the State of Texas)

 

Dove Chapel Food Ministries.  We currently have a food pantry to assist those in need of a meal in the community.  In progress is the upgrading of the kitchen to expand this to an outreach delivering hot meals to the homes of people who can't get out of their home due to health realated issues.  The kitchen will also increase our ability to serve the homeless more effectively.

 

Give Me Jesus Ministry.  We offer an assistance program teaching Christians how to overcome addictions: Drugs, Alcohol, Sexual and more.  This ministry is based on the action and teaching of Jesus that He came to heal the sick as evidenced in John chapter 5 at the pool of Bethesda.  He came to restore people in their faith and to send away accusers with the woman caught in adultery.  And Jesus came to give hope for the hopeless when He said, "With men it is impossible, but not with God; for with God all things are possible".  Mark 10:27  In this we are reassured to seek Jesus in all things.  In this, is the gospel we all need.  Give Me Jesus.
